At the time baby Dolaan was born, his mother Aldynay already had experience as a mother, so she noticed almost immediately that something was wrong with the baby. The baby was three months old and his skin and sclerae were still yellow. The diagnosis was disappointing - biliary tract atresia, a rare congenital pathology in which the biliary tract is obstructed or absent. The doctors advised me to go to the Shumakov Scientific Research Center for Biliary Diseases of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Shumakov" of the Ministry of Health of Russia. The necessary formalities were settled rather quickly, and the family arrived in Moscow. The thought did not leave the parents thinking that everything would be okay, and so it happened! The boy had a liver transplant from a blood donor - his father. The surgery was successful, the post-operative period went smoothly. The family returned safely to their native village, to the great joy of relatives, friends and colleagues who helped and supported them in this difficult period of life. But now Dolaan needs to come to the transplant center in Moscow regularly for check-ups to adjust the medication therapy. Missing a checkup is inadmissible because it may lead to serious complications and irreparable consequences, up to the rejection of the transplant.
Dambaa's family has many children and they are going through a difficult time. Mom is on maternity leave to care for her baby brother, Dolaan, and she is unable to work. Only Dad works in the family. The income is barely enough, because the family is raising four children, it is not possible to set aside money to buy air tickets to Moscow and pay for accommodation, and the next check-up is due in September 2021.
