Umar, born in 2021, has suffered from seizures involving loss of consciousness since an early age. He experiences myoclonic and tonic-clonic seizures, which last 2-3 minutes and can recur up to 13 times a month. The seizures are accompanied by developmental delays, irritability, and aggressive behavior.
The first seizures began when he was 4 months old. Since then, Umar has been regularly monitored by a neurologist, undergoing examinations and treatment. The examinations resulted in a diagnosis of Dravet syndrome, as well as associated conditions.
Umar resides at home with his mother and requires constant care. In addition to anticonvulsant therapy, the child requires rehabilitation classes to support his development and reduce the severity of the effects of the disease.
The family currently needs help to continue Umar's treatment and rehabilitation. It is difficult for them to manage expenses on their own.
Every donation you make is a contribution to supporting a child who faces challenges every day.
*If the amount raised exceeds the stated amount, it will be used exclusively for the foundation's purposes.
