Kanat is 10 years old and in third grade. Since birth, he has been battling a serious genetic disorder called incomplete osteogenesis. Because of this diagnosis, his bones remain extremely fragile and can break even under minimal stress. By the age of three, Kanat had suffered about 30 fractures. Numerous injuries have led to severe deformation of his lower limbs and serious limitations in movement. Walking independently is painful for him and carries the constant risk of new fractures. On the recommendation of doctors, Kanat needs an active wheelchair. It will allow him to move around safely, reduce the load on his fragile bones, maintain mobility, and give him the opportunity to study, go outside, and socialize with his peers. An active wheelchair is not just a means of transportation. It is a chance for independence, safety, and a childhood without constant fear of pain. Let's help this family!
