Masha got a prosthetic leg: a new assistant is everywhere with her!

Masha, a 12-year-old athlete who was born without a forearm of one hand, has been using a traction prosthesis for many years while running, swimming, and figure skating. But for her to live and study, she needs a bionic prosthesis that will cope with fine motor skills tasks. Traction prosthesis is "mechanics", and the word bionic has the root "bio", life, for a reason. It is controlled by electrical impulses that occur when the muscles of the stump contract and are converted into commands for the movement of the prosthesis. Writing, typing on the keyboard, drawing (and Masha draws amazing anime!), using electronic devices are all within the power of bionics, which repeats the functions of an ordinary, living hand. As well as daily household tasks: take a cup, a spoon, a comb, cook a meal, fasten the lock on the jacket, quickly change into a sports uniform, after all! However, Masha's individual rehabilitation program includes only a traction prosthesis. And expensive bionics is, alas, an unbearable burden for parents.   But bionics is also a chance to make your dream come true! Masha, a student of the Olympic Reserve School, is madly passionate about go—karting - racing small high-speed cars. In the unofficial ranking of her hometown, she is in third place. Among the boys! But they are taken to the karting club not only to race: they assemble and repair cars there themselves. And Masha is just watching, because neither a nut nor a screw will submit to a traction prosthesis. But bionic — yes. Becoming an engineer and designing new cars is the future of Cars.
