Muslim is six years old and has been diagnosed with a psychoverbal developmental delay (PVD) and a first-degree general speech underdevelopment (GSU). His parents began noticing changes in his behavior around the age of one: he frequently made inarticulate sounds ("mooing"), was practically motionless, and did not respond to speech or his own name, seemingly existing in his own closed world.
The family actively worked on his rehabilitation, providing treatment and regularly attending specialized remedial courses. Thanks to the efforts of the parents and doctors, noticeable positive progress was achieved: the child began to respond to his name, understand simple speech, and pronounce individual words.
However, further progress is impossible without another comprehensive rehabilitation course, which will stabilize the progress made and stimulate the boy's further full development. Unfortunately, the family's financial situation is difficult, and the parents are unable to afford the next stage of treatment themselves.
