The Beautiful Far Away Foundation cares for the elderly without relatives and in need of help.
Our food kitchen prepares delicious lunches for elderly people in need, our social workers clean up, help with hygiene, go to the store and pharmacy, and help in many other cases. We rush to help in all kinds of difficult situations in which our elderly clients find themselves.
But, unfortunately, some grandparents live in uncomfortable homes. Some do not have water, some do not have a washing machine, and then our social workers cannot help with the laundry and changing the laundry. But many of our clients are bedridden, have skin injuries, and clean laundry is a necessity to maintain fragile health.
Poverty and the habit of living unsettled reduce the need for personal cleanliness in these elderly, they do not see a solution to the problem of laundry and no longer gravitate to the fact that the bed and underwear are not groomed. But you and I can give elders back their ability to use clean linens and clothes.
Our foundation needs a mini laundry, where we can help with the laundry and ironing of our most unsettled charges.
We will use the money raised to buy a washing machine and dryer, and we will also buy an iron and ironing board and pay the laundress' first salary.
