Patimat has cerebral palsy. To overcome the developmental delay, she needs to undergo a rehabilitation course

The patient is 10 years old. Her development was normal until 7 months, but then serious problems began. Gradually, her motor abilities began to deteriorate: at the age of about one and a half years, the girl could not sit or stand. The parents sought specialized medical care outside their republic, and underwent long-term examination and treatment in St. Petersburg. It was only two years later that doctors were able to make the correct diagnosis — cerebral palsy (cerebral palsy). Now, starting from the age of two, Patimat regularly undergoes intensive rehabilitation courses. Despite the difficulties, the dynamics are positive: the girl is successfully studying in the fifth grade of a regular school. However, constant training is necessary to maintain the achieved level and further progress. Breaks have a negative effect on the child's condition: muscles lose their tone, and there is a risk of injury, such as a recent case of dislocation of the knee joint. Now the family has to pay for an expensive rehabilitation course again, the amount of which is proving to be unaffordable.
