Saadat was only two months old when she was first admitted to the intensive care unit with a sudden respiratory arrest. Doctors were not immediately able to give a correct diagnosis, the baby was treated for pneumonia. Only two months later, a severe kidney disease was discovered: congenital nephrotic syndrome.
* Congenital nephrotic syndrome is a rare disease that leads to severe renal failure, accompanied by the formation of massive nephrotic edema due to increased protein loss. Each year, nephrologists identify 2 to 7 new cases per 100,000 patients under 18 years of age.
Prescribed medication gave only short-term relief and the girl's condition worsened. Nephrotic edema became so large that it increased the child's weight by 50%.
Hoping for help from Russian doctors, parents brought Saadat to Moscow. The specialists' decision was categorical: only an urgent operation of kidney transplantation can save the girl. The parents had already undergone examinations and now await the results: which of them will become a kidney donor for their daughter. The father strongly insists on his candidacy.
The parents' financial situation is greatly complicated by the lengthy treatment of their daughter and the fact that in February, the only breadwinner in the family, her father had to leave his job temporarily in order to be near her daughter. They were able to raise 600,000 rubles for the surgery.
Now they need to raise 680,000 rubles. You have already helped to collect 185,440 rubles.
We really ask you to find ways to help little Saadat and her parents. The surgery on which her life depends, needs to happen as soon as possible.
Together we can do it!
