Aliya has autism. She needs a rehabilitation course to develop her mental and speech skills

Aliya is four years old and has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Up to the age of one and a half years, the girl developed according to age norms: she pronounced the first words, used an index gesture, understood the addressed speech. However, at the age of one and a half years, regression began: by the age of two, acquired skills were lost, speech skills and the use of cutlery disappeared, the girl became withdrawn, stopped showing interest in peers and animals, there was a tendency to arrange objects in a line, sort toys by color and size. An MRI scan revealed the presence of a cyst and hypoplasia of the corpus callosum. Sleep is possible only when taking melatonin, strong food selectivity is noted, behavioral features ("stims"), vocalizations, avoidance of crowded places and trips on public transport are observed. Neurocorrection therapy brings positive results: Aliya has a pointing gesture, confident use of a spoon and fork, and meaningful words have begun to appear. Nevertheless, the child needs constant classes with qualified specialists, which the family is currently unable to pay for on their own. We ask all those who are not indifferent to respond and support the girl, helping her to adapt to the environment and develop fully.
