Maxim is 11 years old and has Cerebral Palsy. He was born prematurely and spent the first 10 years of his life in intensive care on a ventilator.
Maxim has years of treatment behind him, including a complex joint surgery performed in 2021. Today, he can crawl, sit, stand with support, and walk using canes. Maxim is a true fighter: he is in the fourth grade at a mainstream school with "good" and "excellent" grades, and he absolutely loves football and reading. Despite his physical limitations, he is growing up to be a very independent and hardworking child.
His main goal now is to learn how to maintain balance and equilibrium so he can walk without support. Doctors confirm that Maxim has high potential, but he requires regular professional sessions. Maxim’s family is a low-income, single-parent household; his mother is raising two children alone and cannot afford the expensive course at the "Rodnik" center.
Let’s come together to help Maxim complete this important stage. Every session brings him closer to his cherished dream — to take his first confident step on his own!
