Tolya is the second child in the family. Already in the hospital, it became clear: something is wrong: the baby had no nails on his hands, the skin was covered with blisters. At first, the doctors attributed it to an overdue pregnancy, but the condition worsened. In the regional hospital, Tolya was diagnosed with bullous epidermolysis (BE): even a slight touch can injure the skin. Thanks to the Butterfly Children Foundation, Mom learned how to properly care for her son, and the family was able to return home. Tolya is now 7 years old, he went to the first grade. But recently, the boy was diagnosed with another hereditary neuromuscular disease. We are opening a fundraiser for special bandages, ointments, and creams for Tolya. These products are vital to protect his skin.
