Little Isrofil has congenital heart defects. He spent his first month in intensive care, receiving IVs and being monitored by doctors. Later, when other children were beginning to try solid food, Isrofil couldn't even chew an apple. Doctors diagnosed him with a double aortic arch, which resulted in a compressed esophagus. For the first three years, he was fed exclusively on formula. He was unable to swallow quickly or eat normally.
For a long time, doctors refused to perform surgery—the risk was too great. The family went from examination to examination, hoping for the green light from the surgeons every six months. They were referred to clinics abroad, but the situation remained challenging. After the final examination at Morozov Hospital, the surgeons gave their consent.
Isrofil is scheduled for the first stage of a complex operation. It will last approximately 10 hours. This is the chance they had been waiting for four years. But Isrophil's mother is raising him alone and needs financial help. She's a seamstress, working from home day and night to support her family.
Our foundation has known this family for a long time. We've helped them with groceries, baby food, and diapers. Now we need your help. We need to raise funds to cover the cost of the surgery, medical supplies, rehabilitation, and support.
