The heroes of our project are Angelika, a disabled girl, and her mother. This little family faces all the problems on their own, as unfortunately they have nowhere else to turn for help. But the trouble they are facing now requires people's support.
Novorossiysk is famous for its strong winds. And the last of these winds lifted the roof of our charges' home, and when it fell into place, the slate shattered. The summer of 2021 brought abnormal amounts of rainfall to Novorossiysk and other cities in the Krasnodar region. So the house of our heroes got wetter and wetter with each storm, because when it rains water trickles down from the ceiling. At present, the basement is completely flooded, the walls, floor and ceiling of the house are wet, and the electricity supply is partially cut off. Some household appliances have been rendered unusable by the flow of water, and among them the gas boiler, which is about to be needed to heat the house.
The damage to an already poor house is enormous. And the family lives on a disability pension.
Your help is needed. With the funds we have raised we will replace the rotten rafters and battens, replace the slate and connect the renewed section of the roof with the one that is still airtight.
