Slava is 5 years old and has Cerebral Palsy. At first, he developed like any other baby, but over time it became clear that he could not walk independently. At just over a year old, Slava was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (spastic diplegia).
In 2023, Slava underwent Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) surgery on his spinal cord. Thanks to the surgery and subsequent training, spasticity did not deform his legs, and the boy grew stronger: now he moves with support and can stand unaided for short periods.
Slava is a remarkably kind and thoughtful child. His main passion is construction equipment, and his dream is to one day drive a real tractor himself. His family spends all their resources on maintenance therapy, but Slava desperately needs intensive rehabilitation courses. Only these intensives will help him consolidate the results of his surgery and develop new skills, allowing him to run and jump alongside his peers.
Let’s help Slava take his first independent steps toward his dream!
