For a child with autism, a visit to the dentist is a serious challenge. The unfamiliar environment, the noise of the drill, and new sensations cause even more anxiety than for a typical child. Because of this, treatment is often only possible under general anesthesia.
At the Star Rain Center, the "Tooth Fairy" program changes this scenario. We have our own dental office, where the dentist comes in. Within familiar walls, through kind games and psychological preparation, we help children become friends with the dental chair and instruments. This is the path to a healthy smile through trust and gentle adaptation.
The story of 11-year-old Timur is an example of how preparation works wonders. Previously, every visit to the dentist was a challenge for the whole family. But after training at the center, Timur was able to have two teeth treated in a calm environment. On his own, mindfully, without tears or anesthesia.
To make such victories the norm, we need your support. We're launching a fundraising campaign to support the "Tooth Fairy" program at our center. With your support, we'll be able to pay for the work of qualified dentists who know how to approach special needs children and provide the most gentle care possible.
Let's work together to give children the opportunity to feel less pain and anxiety. Your help is a real contribution to the peace and health of special needs children!
