Wonderful news, friends! A two-week course with speech therapists, sign language specialists and a psychologist helped the girl to speak fluently. Amelia became more confident in listening to spoken language and communicating better with people around her. Thank you, tubers!
Before this rehabilitation, only her relatives could understand the girl: the baby communicated in fragmented, indistinct syllables. At one time, Amelia's speech was not formed due to congenital hearing loss. When the cochlear implants were installed, the world of sounds opened up to the girl. But launching speech is a long process and you can't do without specialists here. It was necessary to teach the child how to combine sounds into words, build phrases and respond to questions. Amelia learned all these skills thanks to your support.
"After rehabilitation, my daughter has a sharp jump. Now she has a lot of phrases in her speech, she speaks more and more often. And here's the amazing thing: now, playing with her younger brother, she teaches him to speak! She's trying to explain something to him... And it's so sweet," Amelia Aigul's mother rejoices at the rehabilitation results.
The experts gave her recommendations to develop her hearing, memory and actively talk to her daughter on a regular basis. This way, the speech unit will start at full capacity.
"Every day, Amelia gives out new words and phrases like a machine gun. This is happiness for our whole family. Thank you, tubers, for your support and participation. This gives us the strength to move on," Aigul continues.
Now Amelia attends classes twice a week with a sign language teacher to consolidate her acquired skills and further develop her speech. Thank you so much for the support of the family!
Милашка, пусть все получится😘🙏
