Stas has binocular retinoblastoma (cancer of both eyes). He was treated from the age of 9 months.
The left eye became permanently blind during treatment for retinoblastoma. The right eye had partial vision. But in January, 2021 Stasik's sight sharply worsened. He had pain in the eye.
On January 26, 2021 he had a surgery in Moscow at the International Scientific and Technical Center n.a. Fyodorov to decrease the intraocular pressure. But unfortunately, the operation had no long-term results.
Further treatment tactics in Russia implied the removal of the only visible eye.
The boy's family turned to Prof. Munier at a clinic in Switzerland in order to save the vision of the only visible eye.
With the help of caring people, the bill to the clinic was paid in full.
On August 23rd Stas had to urgently fly to the clinic as his condition worsened.
The cost of the tickets on the Yakutsk-Moscow route is 45,800 rubles, and the cost of the Moscow-Geneva flight is 75,000 rubles.
The boy's parents are asking for help to reimburse the cost of the plane tickets, since the family did not have that kind of money and had to borrow urgently.
Treatment in Switzerland is the only chance to save Stasik's eyesight. Otherwise he might have his eye removed, which means only one thing - total blindness.
