Rustam now has his own active wheelchair!

Rustam is a cheerful boy. Rustam’s intellect is preserved, and his hands work well — specialists see great potential in him. But because of cerebral palsy and severe spasticity in his legs, he cannot walk. Right now, Rustam needs an active wheelchair. This is a lightweight, maneuverable wheelchair that a child moves independently using their hands. It is individually fitted and helps maintain proper posture. Such a wheelchair compensates for the lack of movement that slows down development. With it, Rustam will be able to move around independently, approach interesting objects on his own, touch and explore them. The wheelchair will help him attend therapy sessions and activities. Most importantly, it will start the crucial process of socialization. And the sooner this happens, the better. An active wheelchair is expensive. The family cannot afford it without support.
