After birth, Kirill spent almost a month in the premature infant unit, learning to eat from a bottle and suck a pacifier. The little boy was discharged home with a whole list of diagnoses: retinopathy of prematurity, cysts in the brain, and others. And when the boy was 1 year and 1 month old, doctors diagnosed him with cerebral palsy. The boy underwent many extremely serious operations: he had a pump implanted to reduce spasticity, and his joints and feet were reconstructed. After each one, there was a long recovery period to learn to crawl on all fours, sit on his knees and stand at a support. But despite everything, Kirill is a sociable and kind boy; he loves listening to fairy tales, retells them himself and learns to read and count.
Now Kirill needs a special wheelchair. Without such a wheelchair, the boy won't be able to continue to go to rehabilitation, go out for a walk or go to school. Let's all help Kirill continue to develop, explore the world and travel comfortably!
