Adil is four years old and has a complex diagnosis: craniosynostosis. This means that the bones of the baby's skull have fused too early and are now interfering with his brain's growth. Adil's head has begun to deform, developing a severe asymmetry. This puts pressure on his brain, affecting his health and development. Adil has an unusual form of the condition. Because not only the coronary but also the squamous sutures of the skull are closed, the deformity shifts to the side, and the skull is pulled upward. The brain is cramped in this "trap," and the situation is worsening every day. This isn't just a matter of appearance—it's a threat to the child's neurological health. Doctors are insisting on urgent surgery.
Another charity has covered the cost of the most complex two-stage reconstructive cranioplasty (skull surgery), and special plates and screws are urgently needed for the first stage of the surgery. These are high-precision materials that will fix the skull bones in the correct position. Without them, the surgery is impossible.
The cost of these materials is the only thing standing between Adil and a chance at a healthy future. For a family where the mother is raising two children alone and the grandparents are living on a pension, this amount is unaffordable.
Adil and his mother now need support from philanthropists to purchase plates and screws. Let's help Adil's mother embrace her son healthy! Every donation counts.
