One of the aims of our foundation is to help children with serious health problems to achieve a truly fulfilling childhood. Disabilities and chronic musculoskeletal disorders limit children's mobility, while a combination of curiosity and mobility is the key to success in exploring the world around them.
We are convinced that it is possible and necessary to help any child to adapt to life with their special potential.
This is helped by equally special developmental and educational programmes, as well as procedures for the development of motor skills.
One such valuable treatment is massage.
Our foundation has many children with paralysed arms or legs, spastic muscles or a curved spine. Massage is a must for all these children. Massage relieves pain in the body, promotes sleep, improves blood circulation and, as a consequence, helps to treat the underlying condition more effectively. Massages have to be given in cycles, and unfortunately the MHI policy only provides a small part of the total need for massage for the child.
Our project aims to provide ten children with severe musculoskeletal pathologies with a course of general massage.
We would be grateful for any support you can give to our project.
