We feed the elderly people of Novorossiysk 6 times a week. The programme is needed for those elderly people who cannot feed themselves because of illness and weakness, or because of financial difficulties. All participants are lonely, without human support and in dire need of help.
Every day our canteen prepares many tasty and healthy lunches, and our couriers deliver them to the flats of the elderly. The composition of the recipients of the lunches is always unstable. Unfortunately, some of our grandparents are fading away, and some have to register at an old people's home, due to deteriorating health. But despite this, we have a monthly increase in lunch recipients, as elderly people in need are identified not only by us, but also by the Social Security Department, and the department's staff pass on new lists to us.
In connection with this we constantly need support, the program is very expensive. So now we are asking you to help us prepare and deliver lunches for 35 elderly people in September 2021. Our fundraising will cover the cost of preparing the lunches themselves, the disposable dishes and the courier service.
