Isa is a long-awaited fourth child in his family. He was born with a serious diagnosis: Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus. On his second day of life, he underwent surgery to remove the spinal hernia, followed shortly by a shunting procedure.
Now Isa is 1 year and 2 months old. Thanks to constant exercises, he has already learned to roll over and sit with support. However, with such a diagnosis, muscles can weaken very quickly, and every growth spurt carries the risk of losing previously gained skills. To keep moving forward, Isa vitally needs regular courses of physical therapy and Vojta therapy.
Isa is a hardworking and cheerful child. His parents celebrate every small success and believe that, slowly but surely, he can achieve new victories. The family is asking for help to pay for a rehabilitation course that will strengthen his muscles and give him a chance for further development.
