Sasha is going through a difficult time. He has experienced being orphaned, and he is now learning to live independently in a training apartment. Due to changes in his treatment and new rules, he is having to re-cope with various difficult feelings. Working with a psychologist, Sasha is learning to understand his emotions and find ways to live in his new environment without losing himself.
Last year, Sasha sought help and attended five crisis counseling sessions, funded by the foundation. These sessions helped him cope with acute anxiety and feel supported. However, the effect was short-lived. This year, Sasha returned to the psychologist again, an important sign of trust and a desire to understand his feelings.
Five sessions a year help alleviate acute crises, but for Sasha, this is not enough. His life experience and the challenges of independent living require longer-term and regular support.
Please support this fundraiser so that psychological support can continue and Sasha can learn to live independently and confidently.
