Let's help Osiya with spina bifida take her first independent steps

Osiya is the fourth daughter in a large and loving family of five children. She is now six years old. Her life has been difficult since birth: she has spina bifida, a congenital spinal cord defect. In her home country, the family was unable to receive the necessary care. Therefore, Osiya's father made the difficult decision to move to Russia with his daughter to give her a chance for treatment and rehabilitation. Her mother and sisters remained at home, and her father and aunt, who helps care for her, now live with her. Osiya is a very inquisitive and creative girl. She loves to draw and make up stories, and dreams of learning to swim, ride a bike, and hang out with friends. Due to her spinal cord injury, she cannot stand or walk independently and only gets around by crawling or using a wheelchair. Doctors prescribed a special ankle brace for Osiya. It will help keep her foot in the correct position and allow her to stand safely and learn to walk with support. Support the fundraiser so Hosea can take her first steps.
