Kolya was born prematurely in the Amur Region, which severely impacted his health. His intestines were the most severely damaged, and Kolya had difficulty digesting food. Kolya also has Down syndrome. His parents were unable to care for him, and he ended up in an orphanage.
The orphanage realized Kolya needed serious treatment and contacted our Foundation. We arranged for him to travel to the capital, where he underwent the necessary surgeries.
Kolya is now 5 years old, an active and cheerful boy. His nanny, Lyubov, has been by his side throughout the many months of treatment. She supports Kolya and monitors his health and well-being.
"Not long ago, he couldn't walk, eat, or assemble a simple figure," Lyubov shares. "Now he recognizes colors, learns shapes, and plays. Every day is a new victory! His eyes shine with happiness when he succeeds, and I rejoice with him."
We're raising funds to pay for a nanny for Kolya and other orphans who have come to Moscow for vital treatment and rehabilitation!
