As a child, almost nothing was known about epidermolysis bullosa — Sasha's parents had to take care of her skin intuitively. Due to improper care in childhood, many patients develop severe complications, such as finger fusion. Sasha starts every day with bandages: you need to apply ointment and apply a soft bandage — it takes hours. Regular bandages are not suitable: they injure the skin and provoke infections. Special simulated bandages are needed — they protect the skin, heal wounds and prevent complications. But they are very expensive: hundreds of thousands of rubles are required every month. The Butterfly Children Foundation is opening a collection so that Alexander can have a supply of bandages. May he live without pain and go out for walks more often!
