Masha and other children with serious illnesses need gastrostomies!

In 2018, Masha was diagnosed with Niemann-Pick disease type C. This disease causes fats (lipids) to accumulate in cells, affecting the liver, spleen, and brain, causing severe impairment. Despite all the difficulties, Masha remains a bright and kind person who continues to smile at the world. She is the soul of the family. Her loved ones admire her strength and positivity. Masha loves cartoons, calm music, and the attention of her family. She is especially happy when her sister returns from school and when they speak to her tenderly and kindly. Masha is currently fed through a gastrostomy tube and requires special nutrition to avoid complications. The gastrostomy tube needs to be changed regularly, and consumables are constantly needed to ensure safety and prevent infections. Scheduled replacement is also necessary due to wear and tear of the materials. Unfortunately, consumables are very expensive, and parents often cannot afford them.
