In May 2021, Alexander was in a car accident. He woke up in the hospital. The diagnosis: severe trauma, right-sided paraplegia. His leg and arm were almost completely paralyzed.
Alexander is now 36 years old. In recent years, he has undergone treatment and rehabilitation, including independent exercise at home. And the results are showing. Today, Alexander can bend his knee, elbow, and wrist. He uses an elliptical machine at home. He gets up from a bench with a safety net—without assistance.
But doctors and rehabilitation specialists warn: rehabilitation is not a course, it's a way of life. At least twice a year. Otherwise, muscle tone declines, the lower back weakens, and social skills fade.
Now Sasha needs help again. Examinations by a neurologist and urologist, muscle strengthening, and social rehabilitation—all of this requires funds. Alexander lives with his mother, who is of retirement age, and provides him with support and assistance with everyday life. Without our support
Let's work together to help him preserve what he's achieved with such effort. Let's not let progress slip away. Join us in this good work!
