Artur is seven years old. He is a kind, affectionate, and very playful boy who dreams of playing hockey. But his path to this dream is a daily struggle. He was born after a difficult pregnancy. The first diagnoses surfaced at just one month old, and for the first three and a half years, he practically lived in the hospital.
In 2023, he suffered his first epileptic seizure. In 2024, the seizures became more severe. After one of them, Artur forgot everything: who his mother was, how old he was, he forgot how to walk, hold a spoon, and even forgot letters and numbers. He had to learn it all over again.
He is now in remission. But after each seizure, he forgets everything and spends almost two weeks sleeping. Artur works with a speech therapist, a special education teacher, a neuropsychologist, and does physical therapy, massage, and adaptive gymnastics. Sports help him greatly. But his mother cannot afford hydrotherapy—water exercises. Water relaxes muscles, strengthens the back, develops coordination, and teaches body awareness. This is what Artur needs most right now.
We're raising funds for Artur's hydrotherapy rehabilitation course. Let him swim, get stronger, and get closer to his dream of skating and picking up a hockey stick!
