Until she was two, Anya developed like a typical child, but then she suddenly lost speech and started throwing tantrums. She wasn't diagnosed with autism until she was four and a half years old. Her mother didn't give up: she began working with a special education teacher, a speech therapist, and ABA therapy. Anya entered a special needs preschool, and speech began to return by age five.
Now Anya is seven years old. Her terrible tantrums have disappeared, and she's developed an interest in the world around her. She loves clay modeling and drawing. Most importantly, she's into rollerblading and took second place in the All-Russian competition for children with disabilities!
Anya and her mother's dream is to attend a regular school (special needs class 8.1) so she can finally make friends. This requires a comprehensive examination, including tests and an MRI of the brain.
Let's help Anya get a chance to learn, socialize, and achieve new success!
