A hot lunch for orphans undergoing treatment away from home: We need to buy food for orphans at the Social Center!

Anya was born with a serious diagnosis, which her parents learned about while still in the maternity hospital. She spent her entire childhood in an orphanage. When Anya needed complex treatment, the Road of Life foundation helped her come to Moscow for an examination. Last year, after trying cooking for the first time, Anya fell in love with it. Her favorite dish is waffles with whipped cream and fruit. She learned to cut vegetables and make soups. And even though not everything turned out perfectly, she tried again and again. "She's very diligent," the nanny recalls fondly. "She asked me to teach her how to cook. And she smiled even when something didn't work out. That's her greatest strength." Now Anya continues her journey toward an independent life. Our Social Center is home to other orphans who have arrived in Moscow from different regions. Each one is undergoing complex surgery or lengthy therapy. They desperately need a hot dinner to regain their strength, and a warm breakfast before their treatments. It's not just food—it's a piece of home and hope that tomorrow will be easier. We're starting a fundraiser to pay for meals at the Social Center for 12 children and their nanies.
