Khalid is six years old. Along with his brother, Gamzat, he needs rehabilitation, as both boys have developmental delays. Khalid has a complex diagnosis: developmental delay, alalia, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Since birth, he has lagged behind his peers. When stressed, he becomes self-injurious, hitting himself. Despite these difficulties, his parents didn't give up and immediately began rehabilitation. Thanks to their efforts, Khalid is making progress: he is learning to distinguish colors, showing interest in toys, and mastering new skills, although he doesn't yet speak.
