Friends, more than 500 cats live at the "Devoted Heart" shelter. Every day we clean cages, beds, floors, walls — in total, the shelter has more than 7 rooms that require regular disinfection.
Regular cleaning with detergents helps, but it doesn't always eliminate the main threat — viruses and bacteria that remain on surfaces. This is especially dangerous in the hospital area, where weakened and sick animals are treated, and in isolation, where newcomers with unknown health status are kept.
A steam cleaner is a real lifesaver. Hot steam under pressure destroys up to 99% of bacteria and viruses without chemicals, penetrating into cracks and pores where a regular cloth is powerless. It is safe for animals and incredibly effective.
Currently, the shelter has no steam cleaners at all. But the need is enormous: 500 cats, 7 rooms, the daily threat of infection spreading.
We are raising funds for three steam cleaners.
With them, we will be able to:
— disinfect all 7 rooms without delays;
— thoroughly clean cages after sick cats;
— disinfect the hospital and isolation areas without risking the spread of infections;
— maintain cleanliness in the cages with kittens and vulnerable animals.
