Timur has cerebral palsy. To learn to walk confidently, he needs rehabilitation

Timur is now 7 years old and has cerebral palsy. Thanks to ongoing rehabilitation, he has already made significant progress: he can sit without support, stand for up to 30 seconds, take his first steps, and move around with assistance. Timur is getting ready for school: he reads, solves math problems, and plays chess. He dreams of learning to walk and becoming a tank driver in the future. The boy’s intellectual abilities are fully intact, but involuntary movements—hyperkinesis—prevent him from controlling his body. To maintain and build upon the progress he has made, Timur needs to continue comprehensive rehabilitation: physical therapy, sessions with specialists, and swimming. The next course will help Timur become more stable, stand more confidently, and take more steps on his own. This means he’ll be able to adapt more easily to school, rely less on adult assistance, and get closer to his biggest dream—walking on his own. Let’s help him!
