Mukulsun is 14 years old. She is a very caring and well-read girl, especially fond of fiction. Even while in the hospital, Mukulsun asks her grandmother to bring her new books—reading helps her distract herself and return, at least for a little while, to the familiar world. She also greatly misses her home in the Stavropol Territory, where a large farm with animals awaits her.
It all started in December, when Mukulsun complained of pain in her leg. She was sent for an X-ray and MRI. The images revealed a tumor, and after histology, the diagnosis was cancer. The family was urgently referred to the Blokhin Center in Moscow. Mukulsun and her family are currently undergoing treatment there. She has already completed two courses of chemotherapy, and another is planned.
The disease has profoundly changed Mukulsun's life: she can't walk, she experiences constant pain and weakness, and her hair is falling out. But Mukulsun isn't giving up. She's working with a psychologist, and step by step, her smile is returning.
Now, the girl needs the Foundation's cutting-edge research, which will help doctors choose the most accurate and effective treatment for her.
Let's help her overcome the disease and support her family!
