These children can't eat like we do. But they can gain strength through special therapeutic formulas. At an orphanage in Mari El, this nutrition is vital for two children with gastrostomy tubes.
Their bodies can't handle regular food. But the formulas selected by doctors become a real support: they contain essential vitamins, proteins, and minerals, are easily digestible, provide energy, strengthen the immune system, and promote recovery. This isn't just food—it's a chance for stability and the opportunity to enjoy life.
Doctors from the Road of Life Foundation visited the orphanage as part of our outreach program, examined each child, and held a consultation with the staff. Their main conclusion was that if we establish a regular supply of formula, the children will feel significantly better.
"Our doctors at the consultation at Solnyshko clearly stated: therapeutic nutrition is essential. We can't change their diagnoses, but we can provide them with stable nutrition—an important step toward improving their quality of life and maintaining their health. "This is the most important thing the foundation does for them now," explains a staff member of the outreach program.
