Let’s help Alina, who has cerebral palsy: she needs a specialised wheelchair

Alina is 12 years old and has cerebral palsy. She cannot sit or walk unaided, and every movement is a struggle for her. But Alina has learnt the most important thing of all — never to give up. After every course of rehabilitation, she makes new progress: she has managed to roll over by herself, taken a step with support, and said a short word. She loves going for walks, playing educational games and listening to audiobooks. The old wheelchair that helped Alina get around has broken down. The backrest no longer adjusts, and the footrest is damaged. Without proper body support, the benefits of her rehabilitation may be lost, and getting out and about becomes impossible.
