Kirill was born with multiple abnormalities. He could not breathe on his own, he had to eat with a tube, his reflexes were not formed, and his legs were deformed. The child spent almost 4 years in different hospitals before he was able to live without medical supervision.
In addition to Kiril, there were three other children in the family, a full family, and they all coped with Kiril's treatment together. But when Kiril was 3, his father died, and the burden of providing for his large family was placed on his mother. Since then the family has been in constant need of help. And now Kiril's mother has turned to the fund with a request to pay for surgery to correct the structure of Kiril's foot, so that the boy can depend less on his relatives and he can walk longer distances on his own.
The neurologist at the state outpatient clinic believed that the foot deformity was the result of a neurological abnormality and a deliberate malpositioning of the foot when it was supported on the foot. The doctor felt that the operation would not have the expected effect and that Kiril would continue to put his foot in abnormal position. Therefore Kiril was denied free treatment.
A year ago Kiril underwent an operation for correcting the deformity of his left foot and it is safe to say that the deformity has not returned, and the boy's mobility and independence are increasing. Kirill is now able to move around the house a little with canes. But while his other foot is still deformed, Kiril cannot leave the house on his own feet - he gets very tired. So the boy's whole world is the house that his mother rents for the family life.
Please help us to pay for Kiril's second operation. We will be able to give the boy more independence and mobility.
