Masha has Cerebral Palsy, she needs rehabilitation!

Maria is the long-awaited third child in her family. From her earliest months, she faced one trial after another: surgery to repair a cleft palate, developmental delays, and a Cerebral Palsy diagnosis at age one. Later, further testing revealed the root cause — a rare genetic condition called Snijders-Blok syndrome (a mutation in the DDX3X gene). Every rehabilitation session grants her a new skill: at eighteen months she learned to sit, and at age two, she took her first steps. Her main challenge now is an intellectual developmental delay, which makes mastering basic life skills very difficult. To lock in her progress and keep moving forward, regular sessions with specialists are vital. Masha is a very positive and bright girl. She tries her heart out to learn new things, but without professional physical therapy, her family cannot manage on their own.
