15-year-old Zubairova Rabiyat is surrounded by a protective cocoon every day. Due to a rare genetic disease, Rabiyat is called a butterfly, and her skin does not protect the owner, but itself requires protection.
The reason is epidermolysis bullosa. This is a rare incurable disease, due to which any touch to a girl can result in that serious injury. Blisters will appear first and turn into a non-healing wound.
Because of this, Rabiyat requires daily dressings, and the skin requires constant careful processing. And it is impossible to do with simple bandages and creams. We need special dressings that will not injure the already fragile skin.
In addition, the disease hit the girl harder than many other "butterflies" - because of the lesion of the mucous membrane of the mouth, Rabiyat cannot eat ordinary food, he needs grated food from strictly defined products and special mixtures. Most of the monthly income is spent on buying medicines and formula. The girl lives without a dad.
Rabiyat is homeschooled. She loves drawing, sculpting, making crafts, watching cartoons, and Rabiyat also has his own ant farm!
Let's help her live pain-free for two whole months. The Butterfly Children Foundation will collect a box for her with all the necessary medical supplies: creams, ointments, bandages - and give it to her parents.
