Amin has a complex congenital heart defect. His fight for life began almost immediately after birth. His first surgery was performed when he was just a week old. Unfortunately, it wasn't entirely successful: afterward, Amin spent four months in intensive care, where he had to undergo a second operation. He was only discharged home at five months. Due to the long recovery period (six months), rehabilitation was out of the question. After the prescribed six months had passed, Amin underwent a third operation, this time in a different city. This third operation was successful. The family hoped for a respite, but doctors scheduled another procedure in six months. The last operation took place exactly six months ago and was the most difficult. Doctors gave no chance of survival: Amin spent a month in intensive care on ventilators, ECMO, and dialysis. By the age of two, due to a series of surgeries and difficult recoveries, Amin had not received any rehabilitation. Now, more than ever, he needs the help of specialists to catch up.
