Masha was born with severe developmental disabilities. She spent the first years of her life in an orphanage, and joined the family in September 2023. At that time, the baby weighed only 4.9 kg, did not hold her head, did not follow objects with her eyes, could not eat through her mouth, did not play and hardly reacted to the world around her. The foster parents immediately began to treat and rehabilitate Masha. During her time in the family, the girl has changed a lot: she has learned to eat through her mouth, sit without support, play, follow her eyes, smile and be interested in new things. Masha has started saying her first syllables and words: "mama", "papa", and "baba". Masha is in dire need of speech therapy and speech development. A specialist can help her develop her speech, comprehension, communication, and thinking skills. This is an important step towards a more independent life and the ability to communicate with her loved ones.
