Katya has cerebral palsy: she needs an active wheelchair

Katya has cerebral palsy. Since early childhood, she has been undergoing rehabilitation, doing physiotherapy exercises and has had hip surgery. Thanks to her family’s support and her regular activities, Katya is growing up to be an active and inquisitive girl. She has finished Year 3, loves singing, swimming, playing board games and going for walks in the park with her friend. An active wheelchair helps her get around independently at school and on outings, socialise with friends and participate in life on an equal footing with her peers. Some time has passed since the operation; Katya has grown, and her wheelchair has become too small and worn out. Please support Katya!
