Karina needs rehabilitation after the accident!

On August 24, 2025, Karina was in a serious car accident and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Multiple fractures, a severe head injury, lung damage, abdominal trauma, a hip fracture, traumatic shock, prolonged mechanical ventilation, a tracheostomy, and numerous surgeries—doctors literally had to fight for her life. Karina suffered: — a severe open head injury — a brain contusion — ​​multiple facial and jaw fractures — bilateral pneumothorax — fractures of the ribs, clavicle, and femur — sepsis and multiple organ failure. After extensive treatment and surgeries, Karina survived. But now she faces another, no less difficult stage—recovery. Today, she is practically unable to move independently, cannot sit fully without assistance, and her limb movement is severely limited. Muscle contractures and severe motor impairments persist. Karina requires constant care and assistance even with the most basic daily activities. Despite the severity of her condition, the first course of rehabilitation has yielded positive results. This is why doctors strongly recommend continuing her recovery while her body is still capable of fighting and recovering. Karina requires a comprehensive rehabilitation course. The family has contacted the Nadezhda Charitable Foundation asking for help with further rehabilitation. The relatives are unable to cover these costs on their own.
