Premature babies are especially vulnerable, and retinopathy of prematurity can permanently deprive them of their vision. But there is hope. The modern technique of surgical treatment of retinopathy of prematurity using intravitreal injection of SDF inhibitors can stop the disease if the treatment is performed by a doctor with the necessary training. We are raising funds to train ophthalmologists in this advanced technology, so that every child, no matter where they are born, can have a chance. We want to ensure that every major city and every remote corner of the country has a doctor who can help.
