The girl has been diagnosed with a psychological and speech development disorder with impaired expressive speech, behavior, and emotions. Maryam has difficulty tolerating noise, covers her ears, becomes easily irritated, and has difficulty concentrating and interacting with other children. Her understanding of spoken language is limited, and her speech remains slurred. From an early age, she has undergone examinations, treatment, and sessions with specialists. Maryam is monitored by a psychiatrist, has undergone treatment in a psychiatric department, and regularly works with a speech therapist and psychologist, and attends ABA therapy and sensory integration. Specialists recommend that the girl require a long-term rehabilitation course. Doctors note that regular and systematic work is especially important now, while the child's skills and development can still be actively improved. Maryam's mother has contacted the foundation asking for help with the rehabilitation course and accommodations during treatment. The family is struggling to cope with these expenses on their own.
