Zakhar is a long-awaited son. On ultrasound at 6 months, they reported: the fetus is lagging behind in development… Zakhar has a rare genetic disease - Wolf-Hirshhorn syndrome. Despite the main and concomitant diagnoses, the boy still developed until the age of 7, but then convulsions began ... Zakhar turned into a supine, helpless child, speech and even emotions disappeared.
Now he is 13. Thanks to constant studies, the boy's back, arms have become stronger, support in his legs has appeared. Even the doctors said that he would not be able to sit, but now Zakhar walks for a long time, sitting in a wheelchair, and does not get tired. His eyesight has improved, he smiles and laughs, understands the addressed speech.
In order to maintain and improve skills, it is important to take a six-month Biomechanical Approach to Development (BDA) course. During this time, Zakhar will be able to learn how to use his hands and sit down on his own, and his mother will be taught how to properly perform daily classes with her son.
