Sumaya was born without her right hand.
Now Sumaya is 8 years old, she goes to the second grade school. Everyone in her class loves her. She has no problems communicating with other children; she has no problem making new friends. Sumaya likes to draw, read and play computer games. The girl is very fond of animals.
Sumaya has never had a prosthesis. The family dreams that Sumaya has a functional prosthesis so she can go to physical education classes at school and play games with all the kids, so she can take care of herself and feel more confident. She's growing up and the kids around her are growing up, and there are more and more questions.
Prosthetics is very difficult in Dagestan, there are big problems with getting through doctors now.
