Families living during the fight against cancer: the foundation needs help in renting apartments

The charitable foundation «svet.deti» has been helping children and young adults struggling with cancer for 17 years at various stages of treatment and beyond. Families who come to St. Petersburg from different regions often turn to us for help. They travel hundreds, thousands of kilometers for the sole purpose of the child's recovery. Thanks to the help of those who support the project called «Island» («Ostrov»), we are renting three apartments for temporary residence of the wards. The island is a place where children can get enough sleep after weeks spent in the wards. To remember what personal space is, to feel the comfort and tranquility of a home environment. It's not just apartments, it's a space of life around the disease. In order for us to continue to be able to pay the rent of apartments, we need your help. Support the collection.
